Outdoor & garden saunas

Weatherproof garden saunas built for British rain, wind and frost – infrared or traditional, delivered across mainland UK.

Choosing a garden sauna

An outdoor sauna frees up space indoors and turns a corner of the garden into somewhere you actually want to be in January. Most of our customers choose between two kinds of heat:

  • Outdoor infrared (Luminar) – ready in 10–15 minutes, gentle 45–65 °C heat and the lowest running costs.
  • Traditional (Solaris) – a heater with stones, steam (löyly) and up to 110 °C for the full Nordic experience.

Built for British weather

Our cabins have sealed roofs, tight-fitting doors and timber selected to cope with damp, wind and frost. A yearly check of the roof and a coat of timber oil every one to two years keeps the outside looking new.

Base, power and planning

You need a level, stable base – paving slabs, a concrete pad or ground screws all work. Most outdoor saunas need a dedicated supply installed by a registered (Part P) electrician. In England, a garden sauna usually falls under permitted development as an outbuilding if it stays under 2.5 m high within 2 m of a boundary and covers no more than half the garden – but rules differ for listed buildings, conservation areas, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, so always check with your local planning authority.
